Im an average Joe and saw a vid where you don’t need to remove the whole seat … did mine on an 2011 Sierra… surprised myself lol…

If replacing the cover only, is it necessary to remove the seat from the truck? I'm concerned that my 2012 plastic parts will crack or break.
Is there anyway you could explain how the front of the seat clips in? I bought a Silverado with Katzkins cover but can’t figure out how the front clip clicks in
