New Drive Belt Component Kit from 1AAuto.com 1aau.to/ia/GAEEK00259
This video shows you how to install a new tensioner pulley and serpentine belt on your 2008-2016 Chevrolet Cruze.
That squealing noise coming from your vehicle’s engine compartment could be a slipping belt, or it could be a bad pulley bearing, or both. A bad pulley could eventually damage the belt, which could create even further damage.
This process should be similar on the following vehicles:
2011 Chevrolet Cruze
2012 Chevrolet Cruze
2013 Chevrolet Cruze
2014 Chevrolet Cruze
2015 Chevrolet Cruze

As some others have noted, this video made the job much longer than it needs to be. 1> Other than supporting the engine can be done from above the car. 2> The air box doesn't need dismantled. Just disconnect the MAF sensor, the small tube out of the bottom and the large hose going to the turbo and pull the entire air box assembly out.
So there was no need to actually take off the tire and the fender well. Everything can be done from the top. Save yourself some work and do it all from the top by jacking up the motor slightly, removing the motor mount, and taking the belt and tensioner off from up top.

That's what I did. Kinda tight, but I've got little hands.
Step 1: Dissemble the whole car
I found out after using this video for my install. Several of the motor mount bolts are "Torque to Yield" bolts. The old bolts must be discarded and new bolts are to be used.

Hi, very helpful video thank you. Do I need to replace the motor mount bolts with new torque to spec bolts?
Do you have to disconnect he baterry too first or not
Do you torque the 3 motor mount bolts that are side by side? I believe I stripped the far left one.
Second Mechanic Resourse Instruction from you I have used in 3 days. WELL DONE.. This 55 year Mechanic thinks you the BEST at this I have ever seen. Will send you a little some Lunch Money... Thanks
Do I need to remove the pin?
How much torque for the mounting bracket bolts?
Nice video short and sweet..
Thanks
Awesome
perfect
Why are you making harder than it needs to be... lol.. Must charge by the hour... hahahaha
I may or may not have reused the motor mount bolts lmao
First time this guy let me down 😔
Guys, I’m disappointed. The ginger gentleman has me used to getting torque values from you, but the motor mount values were completely missing and I had to go to another video to find them.
