Are you completely blind what the heck was so great and helpful with this video he have obviously no freaking clue about what he’s doing the thin adhesive he took off was the antenna and he broke it actually and whatever you do do not I repeat do NOT USE GLU AT ALL TO HOLD DOWN THE SCREEN

You could have just taken the middle bit of the screen off first the peeled the glass off the force touch sensor strip and you would have kept it in tact.

Yes, no guarantees in a diy project obviously, but if you replace the ring it should be waterproof again

some might say yes but if you have to remove the original screen, I'd just think about it not being waterproof anymore.

It will if done correctly. Replace the adhesive gasket. They are cheap.

Hard to guarantee a waterproof seal again that isn't done by machine.

How much did it cost ??

Maybe instead of the super glue… just add a little heat, like you did with the heat gun (hair dryer). Then as pressure to “reseal”.

Doubt that will be waterproof or even stay on in the sun

Those would have to be soldered back together. Not cheap.

I've made many repairs in life but never with tech... my first question is... are you sure should be reusing adhesive of any type? and second question is should the battery have a charge while using metal tools? I'm not trying to be funny I just really don't know

Once you replace the screen, your watch if no longer water resistance. instead it’s show proof.

I have Apple Watch Series 3 Today I experienced with a big problem. The watch turned off and when pressing the side button its not turning on, even apple logo is not showing up. When put to charge, apple logo appears then goes away then comes back and goes away again and this keeps on repeating until I remove from charging I have no idea what to do, tried resetting/hard reset the watch by pressing power button and digital crown together for 10-15 seconds Still no apple logo shows up I don’t know what to do! Tried contacting apple, they say if its hardware problem I will have to replace the whole watch because apple watches are unrepairable. Please let me know if you have a solution, I am in real need for help. Thank you in advance!

You replaced the screen, not the glass part

You need a light point at it cause your fingers are all in the way

good tutorial but please use the correct terms. Not “iWatch or LCD” for example.

It’s not even worth it. In order to repair it you might as well buy a new one

What about the back. I swear everyone and their mothers has a video of the front glass.
