How To Replace Air Filter - Kia Rio (Andy’s Garage: Episode - 472)

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

In this video Andy Phillips shows how to easily replace the air filter on a 2013 Kia Rio. This vehicle is the the same part and process on any vehicles with the Hyundai 1.6L engine. When the air filter gets dirty it can lead to performance issues including rough idling, poor fuel economy and stalling.

Hello Andy. Its a easy thing to do on your own. Im actually returning home after a long drive on the highway with a second gallon of Lacquer Thinner (more than 100 miles) and the light went off. I will hope it does not return. Next days my wife will be driving in traffic (I did not used the Obd reader to clear old stored code). Good video as always. Have a great week, Andy

@@PhillipsVision I'm aware of your disclaimer. However, I would like to ask if I should always clear the store codes (if any) before taking car to the smog inspection?. Just wondering. Hoping it does not returned in the next few days

@@cesarpenailillo6627 I always do but you need to run your vehicle for a full drive cycle before taking it. If a full drive cycle has not been registered in your vehicle’s computer the testing center will make you come back at a later time.

When I went to install the new catalytic my mechanic run the OBD scanner and told me to go quickly to complete the smog check. I passed the smog in L.A. waiting for the sticker. The videos helped me big time. Thank you!
