    Thank you for your time. Bought a battery and found out my alternator was cracked on the bottom bolt,so I got a new alternator. Drove it around for a couple months,didn’t have anything to do so I watched your video. My battery,new,was low so I filled it,like you said,which I knew,with distilled water to the mark,so thanks and I will subscribe for that knowledge.👍

    When looking at this Walmart battery, it is clear that the unit is old and in need of replacement. Sulfating batteries like this one are 'kaput' !

    Awesome. Thanks a lot. The only thing i don't see in the video is the advertise of the roller bearing in the gdi presure pump. It is inside the hole and when you take out the cover, the bearing suddenly get out and can cause serious damage to the engine if you don't see it fall inside. Not a big issue but good to know. Thanks a lot

    This Shit Works!! 166,000 miles on a 2011 GMC Terrain..That stalled. 15 seconds after starting.. White smoke..blew out for an hour after I put it in! This week 4th of July 2024. .Car purrs!. NOW? Had a backup Because SCOTTY the MAN!.. says just use a gallon of Lacquer Thinner..bought both..But Cataclean Worked! WHY PAY 3 grand?.. for a new Catalytic Converter..Just Clean it! If not perfect? Lights don't go out?. Try another bottle..THEN reset your cars electronics..HOW?. pull off the negative off your battery..Then put your lights on..Of course you wont see lights..But turn your lights on.THIS resets your cars Computer. Wait 5 minutes...Negative back on your battery. Good to Go!

    Another way to check your alternator is hook up your multi meter to your battery and start engine and if it's charging the voltage will climb to around 14-15 volts if it's charging correctly if it decreases it's bad

  • @hatersgotohell627
    @hatersgotohell6272 күн бұрын

    But what if battery is also bad. My battery says 11.5 volts 100% charge when off then when I turn car on it says 12.5 volts 57% charge.. how do I know if it's just battery that is bad or both battery and alternator in this case. ... I can't seem to reach my alternator with volt meter to Check it like this guy did.. any advice??

  • @terryhill4732
    @terryhill47322 күн бұрын

    @@hatersgotohell627 You don't have to have your voltmeter on your alternator to check it like I said you hook to battery since it charges it and if your battery is holding 11.5 volts it should be alright with your voltmeter hooked to your battery while running it should show up to 13-15 volts and then turn your engine off and leave voltmeter hooked up and see if it holds a charge of 11-12 volts and both alternator and battery should be good 👍

    to relief the pressure in the high pressure fuel pump, you need to remove the back seat and pry open the gas tank pump cover (which is glued) and disconnect two connectors, yes bullocks, then disconnect the front pump connector and run the car for about 20 seconds or until it stops itself. enjoy

    I borrowed my uncles. I try to twist it and when it got to 120 it became harder to turn. I needed 132 so I turn it a couple of more times, and it broke. I didn't know. Never used one. I guess he didn't exercise his. Now I have to replace it.
