Thank you . Have an internal door where it opens from the outside perfectly but the inside door handle is not going right down so will not open easy. I am going to change the latch and try myself after your tutorial . Thanks

Hi I also need to replace the latch in my door witch looks exactly like yours, i wanted to buy a new one so I went to a local store and they said these latches don't have the option to rotate like you show on your video, I'm a bit confused now. What is the latches model you are using? Could you provide a link to the product? Many thanks

Out of interest, how long had that Eclipse latch been installed? I fitted eleven of them 2-3 years ago, and have lost count of how many I've changed already - even on doors to incomplete rooms that have only been opened a few times a month.

About 3 years ago. I had the bathroom door latch fail as well. Exactly the same problem.
