When i type active it sais the selected disk is not a fixed MBR disk.The active command can only be used on fixed MBR disks .

Does anyone know why my command prompt starts with x:\windows\system32 instead of c:\windows\32? I had windows 8.1 but it says it is in an automatic loop of repairing disk and I cannot boot or repair it. I really need my data.

I don't have any partitions on any of my disks what do I do?

Why do you select that disk and that partition? I have watched 2 videos on this and both don't explain why. I have 3 disks with multiple partitions on each. Which disk do I choose?

Oh, I don't remember how I fixed this or even what the problem was. Anyway, all good now. I break my pc about every 6 months or so, doing things I probably shouldn't. Windows support never helps in any significant way either. They just waste my time and then tell me I need to reformat and reinstall windows. I've never had to do that btw. Thanks for the tip Real. XD
