Thanks! I was able to fix a zipper on a flimsy garment bag. It had no stopper and the little metal piece came right off! I used some pliers to open up the metal piece and easily slipped it back on. Then I gently crimped it until the teeth were zipping together. I put a small safety pin at the top of the zipper to stop the metal piece so it does not happen again. What relief! Just subscribed.

yup still works. littarly just like he said, little pressure with some pliers on either side boom now I don't haft to buy another bag for work, a bag that has already lasted +4 years and hopefully another +40 more. thank you.

It worked! The key, as you say, is to apply pressure on the BOTTOM of the zipper pull, not the TOP, which other misleading videos show. Thank you so much for your clarity.
