This method should work on any Dodge pick up from 1972 - 1993.
I will be making more videos on the project truck in the spring too!!

If someone hasn't broken the retainer clip before you. 1. Flex the wiper arm up and off the windshield 2. While holding arm up pull the retainer clip out enough that it will hold the wiper arm up (the clip will contact the arm if the arm has not been previously bent out) 2-A. The clip will not slide or pull unless the arm is held up 3. Pull out and up on the wiper arm at the pivot with channel locks (use a rag if you don't want to booger the arm up) I didn't find this out until I removed one by mangling/bending the metal arm around the clip to get the clip to move outward. The clip is designed to hold the wiper arm on the pivot, so best not to break it. Little dab of anti-seize on pivot re-install is good.

Even with a speciality tool you made this look difficult.

This video should be re-labeled as "How NOT to remove Wiper Arms on a 1977 Dodge Pickup". The first thing he does is snap the clip off. Here's a better way: Shoot some WD40 into the splined shaft area. Take an exacto-knife and shove it between clip and shaft. The clip tension will hold knife in place. Using channel lock pliers, use one side of the pliers as a pry bar. Put a folded up rag on cowling and pry against lower part of the wiper arm. Mine popped right off. Both sides.

There are two types of arms used on the 150's. A permanent clip on the side of the wiper arm that pulls out and a pressure clip inside the arm that slides out. He did it just right and while it is a pain, it works and is doable I don't even use the clips anymore because the fit of the arm to the post is snug.
