I pulled mine out by taking the fender well pins out and the bolts are on the bottom so it was easy to undo and pull out once you pull the fender well back.

I've heard from a couple people now that it can be accessed that way. At first glance I didn't think it would fit, and then had my front bumper cover off anyway for some other things I was doing. Thanks for verifying that!

@@Scavenger1320 well when you wanna put it back in you can just pop the pins out and slide it in there. Also, you gave me an idea since I'm doing the same thing to take the washer squirter's out and since there's holes that might release some heat. Gonna pull those too, thanks!

Hey Chris, how much fluid does that tank hold? Mine is full, trying to figure out how much weight I'll save just by draining it. Ron sells the plugs for $40 now (I hate dash lights!) Thanks~ Anthony

Good question. I'm not sure. I think people have said about 5-6 pounds worth. I need to dig it out of my closet one day to fill it up with water and find out exactly. I'm not a fan of dash lights either, but it's also not hard to fabricate your own for a bit cheaper. I know someone that basically just bought a pvc cap at home depot and just filled it with water and hot glued it over the stock sensor. No dash lights and just a few bucks in material.

Where might one be able to pick up that resistor? Appreciate the videos! You’ve given me a few new projects to work on. Keep it up!

That was originally part of my plans. I was going to pull the entire stock catback off and throw on a couple turndowns. But then I met up with another 1320 owner last week who has full cutoffs. He said he consistently ran a full tenth slower with the exhaust dumped at the cutoffs versus going through the full system. So I don't want to risk losing any performance. On the plus side it'll keep the 392 stock (except for the CAI), so we'll get more true results from the weight reduction alone.

It won't be much, but I would think it would help circulate the air better and help cool down the engine bay now that its not blocking the open aircatcher headlight. And if it wasn't for these 2 pounds, I probably would have run an 11.400 and not broke into the 11.3's with the 11.399 I hit.

Yeah, it's a lot which is why I waited until I had to remove the bumper cover for other stuff. But after talking to some people I learned you can get to it without pulling the bumper. You just have to take off the passenger front wheel and then pull the wheel liner and you can get to it that way too

I honestly haven't been keeping a tally. If the scale is working at the track this Saturday I'll stop at it to get my weight, if not I'll hit up a truck stop next week. All I know for sure right now is that I've definitely reached the low 3900 range with a lot to do still over the next few days.
