Hi I just did the same thing , U only need to make sure the kluger Spiral Assembly has the socket to plug the steering pad kit cable. If it doesn't then you have to change the spiral assembly that has one.

Can you help me how to remove a steering wheel on a isuzu D-max 2008 model?

so there is no airbag fuse to disconnect or unplug?

only need to remove one battery terminal - then there is no potential difference. Remove 2 is better and safer i guess as the one removed could move back onto the terminal - this is less likely to happen if you remove both.

+powerfuluktd thanks for the info. .my other question is how safe are the ones at pickapart. .like if I was lucky enough to find a really nice upgrade steering wheel. .being that these cars are mostly torn apart. especially the electrical area..with no power what's so ever...

have you ever upgraded the steering wheel to one with SWC control buttons for the radio etc? i understand there is no wiring harness in the mk6 for this, wondered if you had produced a work around?

How you told: unplug negative pin battery. If you unplug positive pin is the same effect.

if you leave the main steering wheel nut (the 19mm one) on the bolt loosely you will avoid punching yourself in the face lol. been there.

I think the right screw is loose on mine therefore the side bit kinda pops out (small gap) is this bad in anyway or nah?

Hi - this is not good - if the airbag goes off and its not secure it could get messy

What kind of wrench was used to take off the cover?

I believe most steering wheels use Torx wrenches for those cover screws

hi, I have a FORTUNER 2009. Which steering wheel looks exactly the same as yours... even the car interior looks the same. What I wanna do is to upgrade it to the one with Audio Control, Bluetooth Phone Buttons + Cruise control... will it be possible? I already changed the head unit which has the toyota steering wheel control socket slots. What I am worried about is the cruise control... Will I need any special part for that? My car doesn't come with cruise control... but it's automatic transmission... Thank you.

Hi - yes you can fit other Toyota Wheels - I believe some people fit the Camry steering wheel with all the controls and this has been made to work. I think the cruis control mod is the easiest - there was a guy selling a mod to do this - i think its only a 2 wire connection to get this working. I am a bit worried about selling the parts or doing the video for this as its kind of open to litigation...
