I appreciate the video on how to remove this bumper. From the looks of this video it is more geared towards replacing the stock bumper with an aftermarket unit. Most of the time this is desirable. However if you’re replacing the impact bar with a new one you probably won’t have to remove all of the Christmas tree fasteners. You can probably just remove the fog lights and parking sensors as an assembly and just remove all of the stuff from the old bumper and transfer it to the new one. This means removing the air dam and plastic brackets inside as well. This is what I’m going to be doing to my truck tomorrow as I bashed the impact bar on mine and replacing it with a new one.

Super helpful thanks! I have a 2019 w/o parking sensors and putting on aftermarket grill that has its own fog lights. What do I do with the bumper end of main wire harness? Will I throw a code after installing new bumper and starting up?

How do you take the underheadlight infill panels off? Are they riveted to the fender ?

I’m considering buying a used front bumper due to it being color matched but it doesn’t have the sensor inserts like mine. Will I be able to swap my inserts over to the other front bumper??
