In this video, we look at how to remove and test the thermostat out of an Evinrude ETEC 40 50 60 65 outboard engine.
This thermostat fits a number of Evinrude models in addition to the above mentioned.
This is not an in depth service spec test, but rather a do it at home test to see if the thermostat is operating.
You will only need 1 tool to do this job, a 21 mm socket or spanner.
