How to Remove Scratches from Glass

How to remove scratches on glass?
For a fraction of the cost, we will repair your scratched glass. Don't replace your scratched glass!! We remove all sizes of scratches, watermarks, stains, welder slag and blemishes on different types of glass, of any size, saving you money.
We also repair glass that has been affected by acid etched and graffiti on store fronts on commercial properties. We are experts in polishing those impossible-to-clean hard water stains on your shower doors. We specialize in glass restoration, transforming your glass back to its new condition and make it look as good as it did on day one.
Who are we?
My name is Pedro Diaz, and I’m the owner of The Glass Scratch Remover of Miami. I have been working in every facet of the glass industry for over a decade. Early on, I realized that when a panel of glass was scratched, regardless of size, it was almost always discarded and completely replaced. Expensive glass shower doors with watermarks or stains were being thrown away, same was the case of glass windows with scratches or damaged sliding glass doors. This seemed wasteful, nor did it guarantee that the same panel wasn't going to be scratched again in the future. As a result of seeing so many pieces of glass wasted in the process, I embarked on a journey to learn how to remove scratches from glass and help so many disappointed owners and to save them money. Over the following 7 years, my team and I have perfected the art of glass scratch removal. During this time, our hard work and dedication to our clients has made us the leaders in the marketplace. We truly work hard every day to ensure that our clients are satisfied, and we will not rest until the job is done right.
When is it worth repairing glass scratches?
Simply put, a glass panel should be repaired when it's more expensive to replace it. This happens the majority of the time a scratch is discovered. Some very light scratches can be buffed away using a product called cerium oxide, but if the scratch is deep enough that it can be felt by running your finger nail across it and getting it caught in the scratch, you should only use professional removal. Experts like us have the necessary tools and experience to completely remove scratches from the glass surface, leaving little or no distortion. All it takes is a phone call, and after a quick site visit you should have an accurate estimate for a professional and efficient glass repair.
Tools of our trade?
We use a myriad of tools and advanced compounds to polish and repair glass. Special attachments and buffing pads of varying textures and degrees of roughness allow for a custom system that is flexible enough to address any level of repair. Our system of glass scratch repair treatment typically progresses through four levels of abrasive pads, specially designed to perform microscopic cutting through glass. Upon the initial scratch removal using these pads, a faint haze remains on the surface. We then use a cerium oxide compound to leaving you with a crystal clear glass as the moment it shipped from the factory.
Major glass scratches repairs is our specialty, and our meticulous process and quality control standards are the solution to all your glass needs.
We invite you to subscribe and share … and help your friends to save money and end the frustration of having scratched or stained glass.
Whatever your needs are… glass repair, polish glass scratches, glass restoration, graffiti removal, clear glass, remove watermarks from shower doors, damaged glass treatment, window scratch removal, sliding glass door scratch removal…. There is a simple solution…contact The Glass Scratch Remover of Miami today at 305-773-5889

Excellent work, Pedro, but I worry for your health. The glass dust is carcincogenic, please use a suitable mask. Although you can't see the dust in this video, if you set up a light you'll see massive clouds of it as it flies off the glass into your face. Again, your work is great, but protect yourself.

hey there are so many grits of cerium oxide, 2.5 seems to be what s in kits, but you can find down to 0.2 microns, what would you recommend to get normal clarity in the glass. Also have heard some use diamond powder it can also be found in 0.1micron grit but id imagine its a bit hard for glass.

Daniel Beaufils this compound will not work on plastic. You need a different type specifically for the material your glasses are made of. Also you have to slow the rpm down and use water at the same time to not melt or burn the material.

Hi Pedro, my me scratches a double pane glass by Andersen, a bit thin glass around 3mm and some scratches can be felt with the tip of my nail. Problem is no technical support from the Andersen Philippine distributor which I really hate because they are selling it here and no idea at all on how to trouble shoot. I really wish you have a country branch here and save many from spending including me because it's my liability as a contractor of the canopy and my men did damaged the glass panel. Can you email me the paticular grits of the sanding discs?. I have the cerium already.thanks

I dont have deep scratches on my sliding glass door. I made the mistake of using a pumice to remove spots of water stains on my rental's bathroom sliding glass door :( Now I have to fix it and there are no companies that do this service! Since I cant put my mail on the scratches, would I be ok just using Cerium oxide and polish pad with my drill? Any help would be appreciated.
