When/how do you disconnect the (6?) plugs connected to the back of the unit? As these easily accessible, and do you this before you loosen the 8mm bolts underneath? How easy/hard is it to reconnect to bolts once you're putting the unit back?

I am sorry but we do not have any other video.

I am trying to remove my Acura MDX 2016 radio to send for repair. I followed your instructions however there are no 8mm bolts underneath the unit! I tried pulling the radio out, but no luck. Something else is holding it in. Can you suggest how I can get this radio out??

Did you buy the car used or new?

Replaced it, works again. But now my top screen/navigation system isnt visible. I can hear it working but showing anything. Anyone have an idea?

Double check all your connectors in the back of the units.

Helpful with a grain of disinformation: socket does not fit there at all, the space is way too tight. I had to take apart the two joining panels on each side in order to squeeze in the 8mm wrench.

Oh man can you plz tell me how did you do that? I think I also have the DVD player right below the radio unit and it's almost impossible to get the 8mm inside...

Ok, so I never ended up actually unscrewing it, i just grabbed by the screen (on left and right) and started to wiggle left and right while tugging on it and it came out. Down worry its not screwed in too tight. I took appart left side i kinda was able to access with the wrench but the right side is “forget about it” just pull and tag while moving left to right. Its hard at first but then it gives in

No bro mines it's pretty tightly bolted down. It's like a rock not moving at all. I have all the four screws from the front removed but still this unit it not moving at all...
