  Same problem here, it's a 2013 X3, I bypass the SOS module, nothing, then I connected a new amp, no sound. The radio works fine, what else can be?

  The plastic plug has a clip which you need to use a small flat screw driver to push it in then pull the plug out. The metal plug, just move it side to side and pull it out.

  Once you remove the radio then easily you could remove the A/C control unit.

  Thank you so much, this is exactly what I need because my wife's 2015 is 250 amplifier malfunction. After they repaired the amplifier, they said I have to clean this connector to get it work. I am going to follow your instruction. BTW, have you repaired the amplifier problem? Is the connector issue hard to fix?

  Amplifier did not have any issue, just the connection was bad. To fix the connector you should use a microscope to see the pins and adjust them so they make a good contact.

  W205's rear camera isn't working, so I replaced the camera, but the symptoms don't resolve. When gear R is running, the rear camera is running for about 2 seconds, and then the screen goes back to the menu. And the lid of the rear camera won't open. I forced it to open, and the camera screen comes out, but the still goes back to the menu after about 2 seconds.

  Hello, I changed both batteries in the car and fully charged, and then cut the car on and went to the back trunk area and noticed I had red fiber optic lighting, IN ALL 3, but then it would go away! I could hear the fan in the amp working, does that mean the app is good if the fan is on? Amazon sent me the wrong loopers so I couldn’t go that route at the moment, but I unplugged each device except the amp and I got sound, then it cut off again and on the screen showing please wait telephone, It kept rebooting and clicking noise with sound then eventually again no sound at all! Also if I go to the center console and click the on and off button a few times that would get my radio station to pop on but now no sound and no movement when turning the dial. Also when I did have sound and press the voice command button on the steering wheel, it will work. But when I have no sound at all of course it doesn’t. After messing with it everything’s completely silent, but I still get the radio station displayed on the screen, even the navigation still works, but just no sound, with the amp fan and rear light going. Please help we could be the problem do you think? I know this is a lot but thank you in advance.

  They have surface mount soldered fuse but it wont prevent short due to corrosions.
