Great tutorial, I adjusted mine in under 10 minutes. Had to take out 3 links. BTW, if you don't have a dedicated tool like in the video, a sim removal pin from an iPhone will work just fine

It looks like you replaced the pin in the opposite direction that you removed it. The arrow originally pointed at the fat end of the pin, but when you put it back in, the arrow points to the narrow end. Why is that?

You remove the pin from the arrow size and put it in from the opposite side. Also the arrow originally pointed at the skinny end of the pin, he did it right.

@@WinterFlare 4:31 The swelled end was at the bottom and came out first, as expected. Maybe the swell fits in either end, but I think he should've turned the bracelet over and pushed the skinny end in first from that side. Then if someone wanted to remove it later, it would come out according to the arrow. This way it wouldn't.

Thank you so very much! I was going crazy trying to compress the posts holding the links and, of course, it wasn't working. I was able to complete the job with an unbent paperclip once I knew how they came apart.

You can also use a a short piece of wire and a pair of pliers to poke the pin out as I discovered after watching this. Obviously the wire needs to have a smaller diameter than the pin and a hard surface to push against with a small hole to allow the pin to come out the other side.

4:31 thought 4:49 - Go back a few seconds and watch the pin when you first remove it. The split end was on the BOTTOM, and the smooth end was on the TOP - right? Thanks for the content.

Good video but it didn't answer my question. On the older type of this bracelet they use a different pin. After you refit it the pin no longer retains its hold within the link. Have you done a video to show how to get round this problem?

You just put those pins back in the opposite way that they came out - watch the movie at 5:28 when the pin is removed, and at 6:17 (The expanded part of the pin was at the bottom when you removed it, and it was at the top when you replaced it.)

Broke like 3 pins trying to remove a link from a seiko 200m diving. Am doing something wrong or what is happening. The fucking pins just out do the pin and it bends and brakes. I think I should just drive my cursed ass to a fucking shop and let them do this fucked up trade secret
