I would recommend for the towel to use one the same colour as the shoe example if it’s white use a white towel just because sometimes the dye might transfer to the shoe

Fun Fact: you can use this same technique to remove dents from wood, like desks or even gunstocks. It wont repair cuts but with dents the heat forces the steam down into the fibers and makes them go back to normal ie straight. Same concept with the fibers inside leather. Pretty amazing.

I've been doing this for years on my sneakers and I've been able to transform sneakers from like totally creased to like absolutely looking like amazing and it's actually made me a lot of money doing it that way but yeah exactly how you do it is exactly the best way to do it...alot of people don't realize how easy it is to get creases out of leather just I wouldn't suggest doing it on suede

I took my Jordan 6’s and put a damp cloth in side, then put a damp cloth in the microwave for 20 seconds and finally laid it down on the toe box and let it sit for about 15 seconds then it was pretty much good as new!

Another good way to get creases out of Yeezy slides… put them in the bin, they look horrible, I mean adidas even gave Kanye the rights for the slides back to him, the company that made the shoes didn’t even want them

Nice, didnt know this good for an immediate effect and also you can use shoe guards(?) to prevent creasing when using and the staitionary kind to slowly revert it ( dont much about shoes tho cant take my word for it, worked for me though) Note: The shoe guard might feel different and might hurt but you gotta do what you gotta do

They crease badly over casual wear because the PU coating over the thin leather is thick. You can iron them out but it'll just crease the same again.

It's kinda of inevitable unless you use one of those toe protectors, and even that is questionable. Nonetheless, I think doing this is good for a night out or a date My truly honest take is just to let your sneakers crease, give them some personality

Like I got a pair of J1s a pair of the supreme force 1s, the frozen moments 4s ( I got them last week for my 19th so I’m trying not to crease them yet ) and I let them crease, everyone tells me oh don’t crease them, don’t let them get creased but like, they’re shoes….. they’re meant to be worn, what’s the point of having shoes if you gotta walk like a retard just so they don’t get creased

My dad always told me to use those things u have to take out of inside the shoes to stop them from creasing 😂 some reason it kinda works 😅

I would say another round or two of whitening, they look a lot better but there’s still noticeable discoloration and you could work on the creases a little bit

Add coconut oil in the cloth and then iron ...and the leather will get more stiff for long-term

No one but you will care about the creases, increases shoes make you look like a character who hasn’t been fully rendered in yet

On top of this I'd highly recommend using cedar shoe trees to maintain the shape while not being worn. After a long day of wear the cedar tree will absorb the moisture out of the leather allowing it to dry to the form of the tree. It also keeps the bacteria buildup at a minimum keeping thos babies smelling fresh

I just got my first pair of dunks today they are the panda dunks I can’t wait to wear them to school when it starts up
