@nauticaxo creases didn't come back. Method really works. I've tried it on a few different shoes now and it fixes creases for the most part.

Why

Be very careful doing the steamer/iron. The midsole of basically any shoe is glued to the upper so if you hit those binding spots long enough the glue will come apart and not adhere as well as it once was.

Constantly move your steamer and iron and you will be good. Check your work aftet 1 minuete of light use . remember to stop and then re start . sometimes itll be hard to get a crease out so after a few mins ill just start pressing hard and fast to get it done. I burnt suede doing that. Just have patience and treat your shoes with love

The nubuck shouldn’t be damaged too much but you can always hit it with mink oil and a soft brush to reset the nubuck

First couple of minutes are filler... Video starts at 2:40

It'll work, until you wear them again. Then the creasing comes right back unfortunately. I restore sneakers for a living and learned the hard way. It's only worth it for pictures.

I learned to let them sit for 1-2 weeks after ironing out the creases with socks or shoe trees in them. it delays how long it will take for them to come back by a pretty decent amount
