Hi Dan, being a novice at taking apart the washing machine, I needed to see every step in the procedure. Like how to pop off the side panels. There is a trick to all this stuff and for one that has never done it before I need to see exactly how every part comes apart. Thanks for taking the time to make this video.

Good information. You might want to be more specific about your tool selection. You are using channel locks as opposed to regular pliers.

every kenmore 80 series washer video shows those 2 trim pieces to pop right off, yet on my machine it does not seem to have that same situation. are there different variations of this machine which open differently? so frustrated watching all these great videos for what appears to be a different design... mine is an 80 series kenmore and looks almost exactly like the ones i'm seeing.

My kenmore is a lot older. I need help! I took the control panel off to see the hose and cords go thru the top of the cabinet. Can not figure out where to go from there.
