My thought is to have the break-away cable a little shorter than the chains. But your point is seems valid and if the hitch somehow failed but the chains were still attached guessing I would feels something in the truck. One possible issue I can see is going downhill.

Wow. The high side pressure on that A/C is probably sky high due to the clogged condenser. I wish they put service ports on these air conditioners, even just to attach a manifold gauge and see what’s going on with the A/C cycle.

I bought Camco universal fit strap on mirrors and the shake and vibrate even though my mirrors don't shake. I am going to take them back. They are marked: 25650 MY CURRENT MIRRORS DON'T SHAKE: ** No manufacturer markings! I bought strap-on towing mirrors in 2009 when I bought my camper and have used them for 6 to 8 trips a year. They have worked well and never fell off. There were times I had to stop and get them back into position. If the straps held tight, the mirrors stayed in position and did not shake or vibrate. They have gotten old and scratched up a little and I want a new pair. The mirrors I have, are not marked with a manufacturers name. Markings: (1.) Back of head is marked: U.S.Pat.Product & No. Des. 350 ,521 (2.) Strap Marked: HA-968 I think I bought them from RV Wholesale in Lakeview Ohio.

The actual reason that the air was in cold is because with your condenser plugged like that your pressures get so high on the discharge that it raises the pressure on the suction side, which is why the air is not coming out cold that is the cause and effect of your problem I just wanted to explain why, so when you clean that off your head pressure drops which allows your suction pressure to drop And that’s why your air gets cold and a close system like that a dirty condenser because both sides to rise and since Refrigeration has a pressure temperature relationship let’s say at 60 psi your evaporator is 40° on the inlet or 80 psi is 60° on the inlet Because your head pressure instead of in 250 is 320 if that makes sense that is definitely from a very lengthy lack of maintenance. I would check that every couple of months to shoot it out with a hose and outdoor unit. Wipe it clean with a brush and then go ahead and wash it out with mild detergent and just blast that out with the hose wiping it off will help but if there’s that much on the outside, those coils have the ability to get impacted with debris meaning not on the surface, so yeah after you wipe it off, I would definitely give it a good washing with the hose. I will give you maximum efficiencies and a maximum ability to remove headr

I've seen some real nice Auto switches and in this day and ages it's nice when the weather is outside the RV is nasty to justify it's. And u don't want to dirty ur hands in switching over ur tank. Plus it is wise to carry one more tank than what u need.

Your mileage will vary. I'm a mechanic and I used it on my 2006 Altima whose AC system would no longer last a month because of a leak. Unfortunately it gummed up my AC compressor and caused it to disintegrate (sounds like a rock tumbler). I have no doubt the leak stop caused it, but also the system being old didn't help. Quick fixes are always a risk.

Before buying a used RV make shure you take it to the mechanic like Scotty Kilmer or Rick Smith and have the mechanics check it out to make shure its not wreck, flooded, or stolen and its been properly maintained, and if he says its good and running right, the go ahead and buy it.

No idea how but my old car and a friends car had a leak and when we used ac coolant and sealer it didn’t work that year. Tried using our ac with no luck that year. Than the following summer I tried my AC just for shits and giggles and my AC magically decided to work. Told my friend and his worked to and never had an issue with it for 2 years when I sold it.

Mice hate eucalyptus and peppermint oil! Clove oil works too... Use essential oils and make a strong spray, use glycerol instead of water or alcohol to dilute it... Spray this everywhere! Also one of them old fashioned cinnamon Grandma brooms, like the decorative ones that used to hang in their living rooms are over their doors those cinnamon brooms work well too.... another thing I found that's good too is to use those supersonic plug-in frequency rappelling devices that plug into the wall

Peppermint oil. Mix with water and make a spray. They're not fans. I spray it around my car. Underneath the front suspension and around the wheels. Anywhere they might climb up.

The only definite way I’ve found keeping mice away from something is by setting up a trap station. So you use the regular old school mouse traps, then set them up in a jig. The jig is some basic pieces of wood that give only one way in and out (directly under the kill bar). First couple of nights bait the inside of the traps with peanut butter and sunflower seeds, spread a little around to draw them in, do not set your traps leave them off. Night 3 you set all of your traps and rebait. Repeat night 3 until none are trapped Employ the local feral cat to stay nearby This also works well with a bucket trap. Or any other trapping system. Again the goal is to keep them coming from the correct direction in order to guarantee a trap. Remember that for being a mouse they can be quite resourceful and intelligent so like with any animal you want them to be comfortable with a new things before you use it. Check out really any pest channel or homesteader for tips. Happy trapping

Peppermint oil not peppermint extract. You’ll need to keep it fresh every couple of weeks. Put it in all of the out of the way places like behind cabinets, the back side of the fridge, under furniture, in all of the storage areas and even in the drawers. We’ve been doing this the last 4 seasons and have had lots of luck

The rats in California will live off of cement and toothpaste. You can't keep em down. But you can hermetically seal what you want them out of... as long as they can't chew through the material with their iron laced teeth.
