Hi. Can I use the same proces on my Alfa Romeo GT 1.8 TS 5 speed gearstick?

This video has the excellent value of showing how the gear knob comes out, I am grateful for that - thank you :). The original finishing is quite resistent really, so maybe yours was damaged due to the use of rings I suppose.

My Giulietta has 88000 kms and the gear knob is weared too. Bad finish quality i think for a part that uses so much.

NT think it's resistant at all. It's a weakness of the Giulietta. I saw many cars, typically after 10 years it appears to look worse and worse. I will replace mine with a gear knob made of aluminum and carbon with the alfa logo and the printed shift plan.

My car has a k&n air filter and an aftermarket exhaust (nothing crazy) and i was wondering what i could do next.

Thanks. Next in the line would be a turbo charger, but keep in mind that this mod will cost a lot, and there are some modifications included, as well as software update

How can I do this on the auto/tct?

Quick Question - is this the same technique for the 156 ? Insofar as the Guilietta is technically a 149.

It's not, my 156 had a screw at the bottom of the gear knob

Really struggling to change mine!!! Took off the plastic cap and the 10mm screw. The issue is that I can't lift it off, I also isde wd40 but nothing helped!! Can you give me a hand??

@@dominikbozic9703 Koliko se sjecam imaju dve vrste. Na jednoj podignes metalni dio na kojem su ispisane brzine i ispod imas saraf, a ova druga mislim da se samo povuce gore

Good video, again. Too bad it is not the same to remove the one from the Alfa GT, it is older and also needs to be changed. There is also no cheap replacement for the alfa GT, it has to be the original house itself and costs 90 euros.

Actually it feels great after the one I replaced. I've painted it so it has smooth finish

Do not use a knife! You will cut and damage the rubber top on the gear knob.

It doesn’t look as good as a brand new gear knob, why spoil the ship for a h’aporth of tar ? Buy new parts for the next 100K km.

@@markbennett9787 It didn't have the same finish as the original one. This one was actually painted, and the layer of paint was so thin that I had to put couple more layers so it lasts.
