Nice and simple. I like it! My G is a bit different. It's made with a hole for the GPS to sit in front of that compartment. I can't even open that compartment... I don't know if it's supposed to be like that, or it's just broken?

@@arcgarage Well there is no GPS in it now. I believe there is room for the plug-in GPS. But I don't have a GPS unit. Not that I want one. But I would like the cubby hole tho

Without the right measure for the springs and screws this wont work.

Mine was also glued closed. Forced it open, attached a new clip, and now it opens and closes normally. 👍
