Darbuka is known in the folk language as an anchor. It is used especially in the Middle East and the Balkans. There are two types of knots in single and single form in Darbuka, the first one is the entrance and the other is for creating ornamentation and harmony.

Cotter Darbuka; Today, it is made in some standards, as its name suggests, its body is made of soil. In the leather part, there are natural skins of animals such as goat cattle. As a result of the use of natural leather, the temperature is constantly distorted.
Bass Casting Darbuka; Synthetic leathers are used as leather. The sound of the bass cast iron bosses sounds more metalic than the potted darbuka. Therefore, it is preferred more in live performances.
