It's a great lawn tractor. Don't let it run low on oil, of course. One thing I thought could be improved in its design is not having the transmission drive belt go around the steering column, but that's not too bad -- just two easy bolts and a little lift to bypass.

The lever to reduce the tension on the belt is cool. Great job with the deck

I agree they should have made that leaver on more of other mower decks to change the belt 👍

I see you don't have belt guards on the end bullies , they are not only guards but help keep the belt on and very hard to get as they was at least on my 46 in. craftsman of course the craftsman I have was made by Husqvarna , The guards are are no longer made. so if you get any mowers that aren't any good but has good guards they are priceless,

I always take the guards off because Grass gets caught under them If I had kids operating the machine, and of course I would not After each mow I’ll take my blower to remove the grass. It’s just much easier this way.

My 46in will throw the belt without the guard and they are worth there weight in gold I had to pay 35.00 dollars for one used one one bay there are 2 different one too . and they are no longer made, not even after market. I look everyday so you get any old deck thats rotten as craftsman has some low spots that grass will stay and then they rust but the guards are plastic save them and I will buy them. They are like sleeve hitches, I got 3 now after watch you channel.

I’ve never had an issue throwing belt, not having the guards on I kept all my guards, so I have a basket full of gards for different tractors Mostly Crafsman
