How to relearn TPMS on a 2007 GMC Yukon tire positions
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
How to relearn TPMS system on a 2007 GMC Yukon. This is necessary after a tire rotation so when a tire is low the system can tell you which one it is. The dealer is supposed to do this after they rotate the tires, but they haven't gotten it right in the last three years!

Muchos thankius sir it worked perfectly on a 2007 suburban. I was already tired seen that pinche light on.
Thank you , thank you, thank you I actually screwed this up by pressing the check mark when I shouldn't of and you helped save me a lot of work, time, and money I couldn't have done it without you thank you.
Great video! Straight to the point! I couldn't remember how to reset the positions manually, this video is very acurate!
Thank you. Changing all tires and wheels myself so this is helpful. GOOD point on checking the spare
Thank you Sir, I was able to take care of the tmps issue thanks to your video, much appreciated!
Just performed this on my 2007 Escalade EXT and it worked perfectly! Thanks!
I always wondered why the tmps wouldn't work right after a tire rotation in my mom's 08 Acadia. Thanks for the video it was a huge help!

I just recently had my tires rotated and now this 🤦🏽♀️. Hopefully it works for my Tahoe.
Thanks. Great video. Easily explained. That's how you keep it simple!!!
Worked exactly as described on 2007 Sierra Denali and the 'service tire' went off when complete. Thanks!
As long as all 4 TPMS sensors are working (i.e. non-dead TPMS battery), this is the way to "re-learn" them, otherwise if you have a bad sensor, you'll likely release all the air out of the tire and never receive the horn chirp acknowledgment - also, you only have a set amount time to do all 4 tires - I believe it's around 3 - 5 minutes . But folks, this procedure is written in your owners manual!!! But thanks for demonstration - nice to see a successful "re-learn".
Great video works for 2007 Escalade also, I’ve always thought I needed a special tool
Kudos on checking the Air Pressure in the spare! good info thanks!
Thank You!!!! Saved me a lot of time and trip to the dealer!! Have a good one!

I have the same vehicle, glad I seen this video. My system is off balance. Tps sign been on for a while.
Worked perfect on my 07 Escalade thanks
Very well done and easy to follow and comprehend. Thanks.
good video. they changed the procedure for the 2008 Yukon Denali.. 1. Parking brake. 2. Ignition to run without starting. 3. Hold lock and unlock buttons on fob until horn honks twice. Then let the air out of each tire untl one honk, etc.. the rest of the procedure is the same. thanks for the advice. Paddy

What do you do if it just says tire pressure monitoring system? And all the psi are at zero for all tires?
Thank you, great video
I have a mensaje of Service Tire Pressure system, and THE signal on, would this work?, thanks!
Awesome. Worked great on my 2008 Silverado
thanks buddy, big help
I took out the valve stem but I still cant put in the green goop for fixing flats, it seems like there is something deeper inside, is it the sensor, can I take it or somehow?
What are you pushing or doing to get the dash to go to tire mode .If you don't have the book
thanks!!!!!! useful information

@@Broncocarl92 ok because my driver side mirror turn signal is on for me to start there but on the dash it's not showing any pressure for it
does it matter if i have 3 metal sensors and 1 rubber sensor?
didnt work for my 2007 yukon, i let air out the front left tire, it beeped once then i let air out on the front right tire and it beeped twice, so i went backwards with left front tire to rear left to rear right all went good with one beep then the front right tire beep twice, then i went in and turn key off and fill up the tires a little turn the key on to the on position and all the tires on the TPMS had no numbers. What can i do to fix this problem?
Great video however for some reason I couldn't get it to work on my 2007 Yukon? I went through the steps mention, got the horn to blow twice, it went into relearn mode but it couldn't identify any of the tires even after removing the threaded part of the valve and letting the tire go almost completely flat? I also think I have one bad sender in one of the tires because it only identifies 3 wheels. Thanks for your time though putting this video together.
Flat spares suck. My wife would drive me nuts if she a system like that one, the basic TPMS that's on her Vibe is bad enough. Good video Carl.
Thanks for the info!!
Thanks for the info 👍
very helpful thank you
2005 1500 LT 4x4 Suburban: Procedures are in the owner's manual. I watched various videos trying to find what worked and each one was slightly different. Step 1: Set Parking Brake. Step 2: Turn the ignition "ON", but don't actually start the car. Step 3: The key I was missing was turning the exterior parking light on (from auto to parking light) four times in less than three seconds. Some videos showed moving the lights from auto to the left, mine was from the auto position to the right). I had to wait a few seconds for the horn to sound three times but it worked. From there I lowered the pressure of the front left tire first for ten seconds. I stepped away and it took between six and ten seconds to get the single horn "reply" for each tire. I did this to each tire in this order (LF, RF, RR, LR). Step 4: Turned the ignition off. Step 5: Re inflate tires. Note: I had an initial reading of "zero" PSI on all four. I turned the car off, waiting a few minutes and it registered perfectly. Hope this helps the Suburban owners.

Thx was just what I was looking for at least its not key on power radio hold ff and back for specific time turn key to off position more time then turn to middle position and off then start the vehicle 😂😂😅 You know like gm vehicle of the past But no kidding thx for stepping up and helping everyone
can I do this to my 2007 chevy Tahoe??? so no tools needed?
On my 09 Denali it's pretty much the same. Except you start the reset with HOLDING both the lock and unlock switch on the remote.
Is there a main box that reads the tires
""wow" that really works thanks a lot buddy
Slime doesn't work with TPMS, I'm posting a video about this tonight. Thanks for watching!

Hello, thank you for the great video. However it does not work on my 2010 tahoe.. I went through the steps mention. I just got the horn to blow twice. After that I took the air off and it never horn back again. I also think I have 1 bad sensor cause it only identifies 3 of them. Please help me. Thank you

you only have two minutes to do the first tire, and five minutes total to reset all of them.
Awesome! Thanks a lot!
worked on my 2010 GMC sierra. THANKS
Thanks but this does not work with a 2007 GMC Envoy SLT. There is no place in the menu to "relearn the tire positions" and where you reset the tire pressure the horn never sounds. I tried as soon as it resets but I emptied out most of the time and still no horn sound. Found another site that says to use the keypad by pressing the lock/unlock buttons at the same time but this does not work either.
Many thanks!
Sweet thank you!
Thanks Bob
good work
Thank you kindly sir
QUESTION: why do u need to relearn the tire positions????

I would suggest to try going to a different wheel, if it works then the sensor at the wheel that didn't do it is not working anymore and would need to be replaced. I hope that helps.
Will this work on a different set of GM wheels other then the stock?
@Broncocarl92

Kenan Sabani yes as long as a compatible set of sensors are installed in those wheels.
thank you .........

+crankbooster2 Throw the truck away and get an old one without this stupid stuff on it.
Thanks
Not all GM vehicles have the check to relearn tire sensor screen as demonstrated in this video. I believe on your vehicle you... 1) Turn the key to the on position 2) Hold lock and unlock simultaneously on the key fob and wait for the honk 3) Follow the video from this point. I work at a Cadillac dealership as a service advisor. All vehicles are done differently, but I'm fairly certain that is how it is done for your vehicle. Best of luck.
Not working @ my 2015 Escalade ESV, no matter I let out 5 seconds or 30 seconds, nothing happened, weired....Have successfully set to learning mode.

Also the may only apply to GMC and Chevy.... Escalades are Cadillacs
BroncoCarl92 ... you video IS / WAS very useful!! I have a 2008 and I'm not sure if a friend of mine at my local "Just Tires" has done this procedure ... I am getting a low reading at the RF tire ... and I'm not sure if the RF is actually at the RF position ... so I will take the steps to insure the correct positions and then check for a faulty sensor .... THANKS AGAIN
Good job thank you😂
My dumbass started with the wrong tire! LMAO!
does vehicle have to be turned completely on or just to on position

To begin to make the tpm of the tahoe is stepping on the brake hand many times
I tried doing it for 5 seconds and it never gave me the confirmed honk I waited so long that the truck exited the TPMS menu.
