Hi many thanks for the video. Im trying to force regen dpf on 2017 audi a6 2.0l tdi. After i press + release brake pedal + accelerator pedal VCDS says “Running” but the RPM doesnt raise by itself, it stays at normal idle 900/rpm. Any idea why? Calculated soot mass 40.67g

Your soot is to high. The limit is 20-24g (depends on the car). You have 2 options. 1. Try to remove particle filter and clean it 2. If the first option didn’t work, you need to change it

Do you have to use VCDS to run this and do a reset? What if you held the idle at 2500rpm and it burned the soot away? Would it reset by itself once the soot was burned off?

If you have to much dirty in your soot, you need to force regeneration ( with tester )

Alexandru Aioanei I think I’ve had a soot build up as there was an intermittent glow plug issue so the regeneration probably wasn’t happening. I now have a DPF light and flashing flow plug light and it’s in limp mode. I don’t have access to VCDS so will need to find someone to force regen it for me. Thanks for the advice.
Bonjour, est ce que les "particle filter oil ash mass" (en g ou ml) vont baisser automatiquement après le nettoyage sur un 2.0 tdi 170 ip, ou il faut faire une manipulation avec vcds ? Merci

Si le filtre à particules a été physiquement retiré après le nettoyage de la machine, vous devez renvoyer les valeurs à 0 avec vcds. Si vous avez régénéré avec les vcds, vous n'avez rien à faire.

Si vous effectuez un nettoyage avec le Vcds, n'effectuez aucune réinitialisation car les valeurs chuteront pendant la régénération aussi près que possible de 0

ken wanless you need to follow instruction from vcds. You need to activate parking brake, press brake and gas pedal and after you do that, engine running at 1500 rpm until dpf will be clean

Salut, cate grame ar trebui sa aibă acest soot mass? A mea are 29,94g, si problema cu senzorul b1 s3 de temperatura pe evacuare. Mulțumesc.

@@georgianmar e foarte mult. Sub 10 g trebuie sa aiba. Schimba senzorul si incearca sa faci regenerare la filtru
Multumim pentru informatii. O intrebare, dupa ce pornesti aceasta regenerare din VCDS, poti sa iesi cu ea pe autostrada cat timp e pornita asa din tester ? Cat dureaza, se opreste ea singura cand calculeaza ca este curatat ?

Trebuie selectata functia de regenerare in mers. Pe functia din video, daca incerci sa pleci dupa loc in timp ce isi face regenerare, se opreste regenerarea

@@Alexandru_Aioanei iti multumesc pentru raspuns, ai ideea daca generarea fortata fin VCDS in mers dureaza cat o regenerare normala pornita singura de ECU masinii in mers ? Sau tine mai mult ? Am doar vreo 60km de autostrada la dispozitie

Codul de accea il genereaza automat vcds-ul. Apesi in security acces in locul in care scrii si iti va genera automat codul

Soot mass measured - 2.64 (minus) its that correct or should be on +something? I have also - 2.44 and I see consumption are hi around 12 liters in city driving like a old man.
How do you find your security code?

It will abort if the soot level is over 45g.
