Have to be careful with leak sealer. It can block expansion valves. Provided you occasionally start air con in winter as well, you limit gas leakage on compressor shaft seals.

I thought you were supposed to fill the freon from the high side to the left of the engine...

bigger issue is the missing coolant/antifreeze. bottle is empty.!!
