Silky smooth videos with less noise than ever!!! 🤫😍
EPIIIIIIIC!!!!!!! I'm going to TRY to convince a certain someone to USE this technique... if they refuse, at least now I know about this feature, in the event I encounter such a challenge with too much noise in my footage. AH-MAY-ZING job!!! 😊❤👍

@@pixelfilmstudios They DID... and now I got roped into fixing a 20 min film project for them because they don't have Final Cut Pro X... ☹ thanks a lot!!!... Totally just kidding by the way 😄 I appreciate the work you guys do, and how clear and concise the instructions are with each tutorial I've seen so far on this channel. Also love that your videos are short and to the point, such an excellent structure! Just learned a new skill, and was able to help a loved one polish up their project to a higher level of professionalism that they didn't realize was possible! Thank you so much! Cheers! 😊❤👍
Very Helpful, thank you.

Awe shucks! 😊💕 Thanks for your kind words!
Thanks a lot! Straight to the point. I find it a little bit unintuitive that such a feature is tucked into the 'effects' category like a filter. Don't you agree? I would have expected it to be where the exposure controls are on the top right... I am transitioning from iMovie.

Apple probably has a reason for putting it there 🤔 Everyone has their own preference for how things should be arranged, though...either way sounds great to us 👍
Thanks. I was doing a video for someone in the dark with a spotlight around me for a certain them and the video came out grainy and I didn't know what to do. I don't know anything about video and really only have used it to record myself talking up to this point, so doing something creative like this was not something I was prepared for.

good video bro. Whenever I use noise reduction though my FCP slows down so much that it's almost unusable. I use 4k24fps footage filmed at 10 bit 4.2.2 without proxy files and have a 2023 macbook pro m2 chip. How can I get FCP to have a smooth workflow and export using NR?
Good stuff

Love this but mine take so long to process, what am I doing wrong?
Sorry, but do your tutorials apply to the new 10.5? I haven't bought the app yet, but I am considering it as M1 is so good with FCP, and your tutorials make it worth the investment.

The tips should still apply to the newest version of Final Cut :) There might be some differences but they would be minimal as far as we are aware. There may be other new features we will have to cover in later videos.

Hi there, why did you remove the "fcpx layers" plugins? I was interested in the "snow" one to create snow by tracking camera movements, but it disappeared :-(
@pixelfilmstudios

Hello Elia! Apologies our FCPX Layers plugins were removed as they had become out of date, if you're looking to create layered snow effects we actually recommend our ProSnow 5K plugin.
I have an M1 Mac mini and FCP X keeps crashing whenever I add this effect to a ProRes Raw 4K 60FPS 10Bit clips that I got off my Ninja V coupled with my Sony Alpha 7S III. I don't know what to do.

If the default effects in FCP are making the program crash, you will want to contact FCPX Support.
hi there how come I can't select any level of noise reduction? I don't have a drop down menu on noise reduction. Thank you so much for your feedback.
@pixelfilmstudios

You might want to check that you have "Show" turned on for that effect in the effects menu as the dropdown options may not appear by default- you would hover next to "Noise reduction" in FCPX and click "Show" 😊

I add the noise reduction over my footage, but when I replay the program keep analyzing and it’s not smooth play. It’s almost like stop and go mode. I hear the cracking sound.

No worries, we are happy to help! 👍 You may want to contact FCPX Support about this issue so they can help troubleshoot the program directly with you! 😊
I notice that when I used noise reduction my computer starts to use way more memory or Final Cut says analyzing noise and takes forever and I can’t even play back video and Final Cut starts to freeze…what gives ?

Noise reduction is an intensive process, however if you see that there is an excessive problem with the built in denoise function, you may want to reach out to FCPX Support. support.apple.com/final-cut-pro
I don't have noise reduction.
