Awesome video! My video footage while editing was grainy, but once I added the Noice Reduction and turned it up to the maximum the grainy parts went away. Thank you so much for the tip. It worked well.

One thing to mention that I didn't see addressed in the video or in the comments, this process makes exporting a nightmare for longer, 4k videos. It typically takes me roughly 1.5-2 hours to export my videos, but after using the noise reduction tool and adjusting the settings, it took my video around 7 hours to export. Also note my Mac has 128 GB RAM,. Just a heads up for everyone to consider when using the tool.

good video bro. Whenever I use noise reduction though my FCP slows down so much that it's almost unusable. I use 4k24fps footage filmed at 10 bit 4.2.2 without proxy files and have a 2023 macbook pro m2 chip. How can I get FCP to have a smooth workflow and export using NR?

@@RYANROOTPHOTO Sounds like you're adding a mask. Did you drag and drop the effect onto your viewer or clip in the timeline?

if you apply noise reduction to just a chopped portion of the clip, won't the rest of the clip be unaffected by noise reduction?
