    Did i just get ripped off? I bought it but your app will not open and crashes constantly at startup

  • @pixelfilmstudios
    @pixelfilmstudios7 күн бұрын

    Are you saying the PFS App itself is crashing on start up? Here are instructions for what we want you to try. Please look inside the Pixel Film Studios > Plugins folder. In the Plugins folder if there are any apps here please copy them over to another folder on your desktop to back these up. Next, delete the Pixel Film Studios folder in the Applications folder. After this please try running the PFS App once more. Does the PFS App open and not crash? Does opening the PFS App generate a new Pixel Film Studios folder that contains an empty Log, Plugins, and PFS-Download folder? If so please place your backed up plugin apps back into the new Plugins folder and then try installing a plugin through the PFS App once more. Please note the latest version of the PFS App is 2.7.0.73.

    How to export (render) a project in which we have about 40 video files on TimeLine and we want to save not the whole video, but each video file separately. As a single video file with filter corrections applied?

  • @pixelfilmstudios
    @pixelfilmstudios7 күн бұрын

    If you wanted to export all video files separately they would each need to have a separate role assigned before exporting by role. Alternatively, you could use In (I)/Out (O) points on the timeline and export the selected sections separately.

    doesn't the Select tool do the same thing?

  • @pixelfilmstudios
    @pixelfilmstudios10 күн бұрын

    The Select Tool (A) and the Position Tool (P) are similar, however, with the Position tool you can more easily move your clips around and the gaps are created from the place you move your clip in the timeline so your entire timeline doesn't get messed up. If you are moving something from the middle of your magnetic timeline for example you would want to instead use the position tool as this would make sure that removing the clip from that position doesn't cause all of your other clips after it to shift down to earlier in the timeline.

    AHHHHHH I know it's not your fault but I ain't want stupid black lines hiding the part of the image that I "cropped" and I don't want the image to stay at the same resolution and aspect ratio and just full the screen, like when I slice paper the paper shrinks to it's new size and changes aspect ratio why is this so difficult, im working with very sensitive data and I can't risk online tools heavily compressing my videos ugh

  • @pixelfilmstudios
    @pixelfilmstudios10 күн бұрын

    If you are getting the black bars on the top and bottom or sides of the video you may have it set to trim. Make sure you are set to crop instead and it will fill the screen with your cropped selection.

    Hello there! I've just bought it today and I am loving it!!! But I have one question: How can I add this "dropshadow" effects above the 3D texts reflecting the floor?

  • @pixelfilmstudios
    @pixelfilmstudios14 күн бұрын

    Hey there @taylorbeltran2491! Glad to hear you are loving the plugin. If you want to add the shadows to the text you can enable the shadows using the Cast Shadows checkbox under the Lighting Controls section. You can then check on the Light Guide checkbox to see how the light is effecting the cast shadow and adjust the angles and distance under the lighting section to make your adjustments. For the Floor Reflection you can toggle on the checkbox at the bottom section under Floor Reflectivity and make adjustments from there. We hope you continue to enjoy the plugin! :)

    You can also adjust the the size in the video inspector window and adjust the scale. If you are applying this media to a drop zone you should be able to adjust your media in the media scale controls in the plugin controls panel.

    What's the best export to have separate audio tracks to send off for sweetening?

  • @pixelfilmstudios
    @pixelfilmstudios10 күн бұрын

    You would probably want to use the "Separate Files" option in the Roles section of the Export Menu. Go under the "Roles as" drop down menu and then this would export the roles individually so the editor could sweeten each audio file individually.
