I wouldn't say this is true for a blacksmith, my HQ is level 2 I don't even have the option to talk to the blacksmith in town 18:29. Maybe I'm not far enough with the main story but Douglas it is nowhere to be found.😕

No, you have to make 50000 PROFIT from the bazaar dealers (the shops with the scales icon) basically buy everything you see with a down arrow and then sell at any other bazaar where it has an up arrow, so if you buy something for 300 and then sell it for 500 that will count as 200 profit towards the 50000, this can take a long time unfortunatly.

Just a heads up on Syd - 24:50 - aside from needing the HQ at level 3, you also need 1 x Iron Ore, 1 x Mystic Lumber and 1 x Dire Beast Bone in your inventory. Don't go to your HQ, otherwise it'll take those resources automatically.

@tiepthilua375 Unfortunately no, but thankfully it only took me about 5-10 minutes to gather 1 of each again. If you have a monster repellent accessory, it makes it way faster

About Lam recruiting bug (solved) - I spoke to her before recruiting Rufian and thought it would be buggy. I searched him in my hub and found him in the tavern on the right side of it, drinking ofc. But after that he triggers the event, so take him with you and you should be able to recruit Lam with him than. Hope that helps someone

B'baba and Faye can be after recruiting Perrielle you don't have to finish Hashahn Story quest just to that point it will make it easier to recruit Carrie first and Glenn can recruit before that same with Pieter too

on the kick starter thats what they started doing for every new mile stone they would add in a new character with like 3 or so of them if you spent a big 1 time investment on the game they desnged one after the person or for them.

13:35 nope it should be there since the 1st time you get to the area (remember it won't show up with an icon untill yu actually stand in the correct spot and start fishing at least once at that location).

Are these in order of when you can recruit them? Ormond says he's available after getting the HQ, but I have no idea how to get back to the abandoned mines area. I thought the HQ was built inside the mines but now we're in a completely new area with no access to a weapon smith that I can find.

Dont worry advance the story a tiny bit further (untill past twinhorne west) and you will be able to go back to snowpeak pass

There is two. One is due to a bug (It would probably be fixed in the future if it is not already) The other one requires you to recruit all 119 characters before the last field battle.

@@PuchimonExtreme the 2nd is typcal of the 1st two suikoden games the 1st one was to recruit 107 and the last was your body guard who is rezzed back form a storyline death rather eraly to save the MC and something simuler to what will happen in the 2nd you need all 107 and then at the end well I leave that up to you to look into if you dont know 2 is by far the best of the whole sieries.

Make sure you dont have the Rune equipped onto any of your heroes and make sure it isnt in storage, I think you have to have it in your inventory to show him.

did you recruit them all according to the story flow?

try using this team: FRONT NOWA, HAKUGIN, LIAN BACK, MOMO, MARISA ISHA AND SUPPORT PUT DOUGLAS AND MAKE SURE HE WILL ACTIVATE THE BUFF ON THE START OF THE FIGHT

You need to buy darkness rune level 1 and 2 or bring Milana. 1st round use both runes, or cast dark sleep from milana then 1 char use darkness rune 2. 2nd round go all out.. that should be enuff damage

@@berongkun Thank you, I eventually got her with food buffs, taking the blacksmith, and using str buff rings. I used Melridge with a Scorching rune 3rd spell, Lam using her rune then again the second time, Yuferus, Yuske, Francesca to break her armor in one hit, Galdorf, ... thanks though. Also, you have to do it before round 3 starts.

Damn i missed this Aleior 34:14 ... I followed your guide, after Yulin joined the party I couldn't find Marisa in my base at that spot

Of course the character I've been wanting to auto add to my party is 69th on your list xD

You can get Leene even if you completed the battle after the reuined. The last one for me was Aleoir because I misstimed the coop with Marissa and don't know that it is missable. After the battle and Boss Heinrich Group with marissa, then Port to Mine and get Aleoir. After that Port back to castle (inside) and than go outside to trigger the Dialog. Then Leene will join and you completed all Stars.

@tortoro7 not for me. Could Teleport after the battle to free eltinwise before starting the next Dialog Scene. Got Aleoir, and after that, it triggered it so Leene had joined the Party and got the Achievment for obtaining all 120 Chars. And got also the good Ending. But I am truly feeling sad for you because one is missiable Char before it's almost too late. Andv if you want, you have to go again through all that again. Hope you have some different Save Points to not lose too much

@tortoro7 exactly....but you can Teleport to a town and go to Hotel and can Form your Party there instead. Then, I went to the Mine with Marissa, making him join. Then, Teleport back to inner Castle and go outside to trigger the Dialog Scene

There are a few moments in the story where he has to command his own team so you cant put him in your main party during those times but for the most part yeah you can add him to your party 👍🏻

Yeah you have to wait for a while for the fish to respawn, the bream is a pretty rare find unfortunatly.

I got the desired fish from the seaside cavern fishing spot right next to the iron ore mining spot, first time

There are so many mini games or whatever to get these characters that never makes me want to get them all again when I play through it a second time. I hate the cooking game, the sand rider thing, and fishing to name a few

It looks like the only really missable character is Leene (I think) as you need to have all other 119 Heroes by a specific time in the story near end game, Aleior is also semi-missable as you need to start a quest by talking to Marisa at the HQ and if you advance too much in the main story before doing her quest you won't be able to do it, though this one feels more like an oversight and hopefully they will fix it.

they patched the Lam recruitment quest. you have to now recruit Riufan, then talk to him in the hero's den back at your castle to start the quest.

There is another Rune of Currents ina chest in the Ice Cave later on (also I havn't checked but you can most likely buy them after upgrading your rune shop to max)

Lam recruitment is actually not bugged. You have to to talk to riufan at Cassandra’s inn, located at HQ. He’ll tell you that there’s somebody to recruit at that village, then you bring him with you, talk to the lady named “???” And that’s how the scene is triggered

At first its bugged if you speak with her first before recruiting riufan. The scene still trigger but when you talk with lam again , no scene trigger. The dev already give the update patch for this bug maybe you play after the patch released.

Make sure you get the Iron Ore AFTER starting his quest WITHOUT going back to the HQ after picking it up (as everytime you go to the HQ it automatically stores all of your materials away)

Yeah if you don't look everywhere before progressing the story.

So question, am i the only one thinking that hogan is a missed oppurtunity? We get such a cool design with a nice australian accent and even have him wielding knives in his art, and what happens? they make him a support character. Something tells me that at one point or another they planed to make him an active fighter but then changed there mind.

Can you miss any characters and not get them if you miss them?

Kind of, Aelior is semi missable but I believe they will fix this in the future, the only real missable heroe is Leene (#120) as you need to have all 119 other characters before a specific event in late game.

I was lucky and it was there during the main mission, you can get the shops to refresh by saving, quit to title screen and reload
