TY FOR SAVING MY LIFE TO MY DAD

I'm just here to rant. I did an activity for school for 5 hours and the deadline was supposed to be 4 hours ago. I accidentally used shift+delete on it because that's what I usually do to a file, and I didn't realize it immediately and also renamed the folder it was in by accident. I've tried many programs, and I'll also try this one once I wake up, hopefully it comes back, nevertheless, I cried and I'm depressed right now. It would've probably been okay for me if it wasn't the only activity I have, but damn I have 8 more to go and they're fucking killing me. It's 4 AM, guess it's time for bed. Sucks. I won't hope that this works, but I'll still try.

If you guys are asking about if the programs I tried worked or not. It didn't really go so well, some apps showed a file similar in size but my computer was never able to read or retrieve anything. If you guys are asking for the continuation of my story though, I just re-did it once I woke up and it went faster since I just had to remember how I originally did things. So it went smoothly, just a major deduction in my score from the teacher though.

If the files you guys are missing are super important though, I recommend trying because it might work for you, just didn't for me. It was pretty okay for me since it was just a school assignment in the end.

Is there The recover process needed internet connection?

But how do you restore & un-delete files at their exact path where they were before they got deleted? Like when you need to restore files, binaries and DLLs at a certain spot (especially when it is too much to do by hand)?
