Hi, may I ask if I should be able to see the .mxf files even with the free version or must I upgrade to the Pro version in order to just see the .mxf files? I'm using the free version and no joy. I wonder if the PMW-300 sony camera did a deep formatting and hence we can't see any .xmf files. Using the Disk Drill, we only see .als files.

The pro version works recovered 99% of my data. Free version will only show you the content but not retrieve it

I am not able to find any files. I did take 571 new photos but it isn’t working. I saw someone was able to recover images even after they had shot new photos. I’d love to know what I am doing wrong. I’d welcome any feedback!

Nice video. I am able to recover the photos that I took recently and the ones I took a month back but not the ones I took a day before the latest ones. Strange..as those are the only ones I am after. Can you help?

I purchased and tried the program exactly as you said in this video but it only seems to recover pieces of the mxf files. One mxf file will only have sound and a black screen, another will have picture but the bottom half of the picture is green... etc. Am I doing something wrong? Is there a way to get the original mxf file fully intact?

Paid $158 for the Pro being Aus dollars... recovered incomplete videos so the size is smaller. It seems to have recovered the metadata so the video durations are there but it's just a black video. Idk what to do now. 😭

please can you make a video for a formatted card in Sony camera? that is my case. after running a bunch of programs and apps and spending money with no results. I formatted the card in the camera and immediately realized I was the camera I used for record the wedding same day at 3am. Can we recover data last to last time formatted SD card. Means i formatted card 2 times, I am able to get data before 2nd time format. But i couldn't able to recover data before 1st time format. Please suggest if anyone have solution for this.

Had a sandisk CF card and took photos. Nothing. Used Disk Drill to attempt to recover the photo files I took. It managed to recover the small JPG preview files but not the actual large photo files. Bummer.

can the software be used on a Windows 11 computer?

I don’t think there is any solutions if you re-wrote on the card from what I know. Best bet is to call a data recovery store near you. They are expensive but tend to have some other options, but from what I know, once you rewrite on the card, I don’t think you can get it back

For those who performed a Low Level Format on a CF Card, you have no hope to recover anything using this tool. I'm still looking for something that will recover files in this situation. But don't waste your time if you low level formatted (My situation was on a Canon R5 with a 256GB CF Express card).

Yes a man with a huge photographer studio in my area did it for free. Took a couple hours and all 7 of the short videos were unrecoverable but he got all the images.

White Prophecy , I downloaded a card recovery package and paid the €50 euro for the full license. Worked a treat. 28gb of raw files safe and sound.

Can you get back footage in the original format? I shot footage in 4K and I used RescuePro Deluxe and I got back the files but it looks like it was renamed like "file 001", "file 002", etc. and now it's 1080p Will this software recover it as the original 4K file? Thanks!

I formatted the card and then wrote over it.... my client's father's funeral was on that card....

Video recovery Free ?

This was a complete racket. I wasted my money and got nothing; black screen. The preview feature wasn't loading my so-called 'recovered' files before purchasing the license. This is a pretty convenient to prey on folks desperate to recover their files. Shame on this racket.

They $90 for it to work

And costs a fortune with no guarantee... this doesnt work

no its not . Canon 5d mark 4 recovered file neither play in VLC or not play Adobe premiere pro 2018 . its just play audio only no video appear at any cost

I am having the same issue. I deleted a video file by mistake on my 5Dm4. I purchased Disk Drill's Pro version. The recovery was done BUT even though the video file shows 4GB the content is all black and sound is not usable. Have you been able to recover your 5DM4 footage? Why would deleted footage from 5DM4 be different than any other camera? Any Idea how I can recover my file? Thanks
