I handed my SD Card to an assistant during a wedding to copy a whole folder full of images into a hard-drive because we were short on storage and I needed to reuse the memory to take more images. Sadly my assist thought he saved it and has accidentally deleted the whole folder (also in TRASH). Im freaking out right now and hoping this method would save me. Please is this legit ? If you format a sd card use it, but for the 2nd shoot can you recover still the files (images) from the first shoot despite of the 2nd shoot is still on it?

I always get a extra special sort of problem it's picking up files but I cannot select anything at the end window even if I select videos which is what I'm trying to recover it's saying 58GB but soon as it gets to the end window nothing is able for me to select any cue ?
