One thing that was not mentioned is that you should not say Sadaqa Allahu al-Adheem after finishing reading the Quran as some people do. It is not from the sunnah.

Salam Sheikh, i always read these 2 ayah from surah Al Baqarah that always touch my heart and i cried when i read , that is Al Baqarah ayah 37,where Our Father Nabi Adam separated from Allah after he ate the fruits from the forbidden tree. Another ayah is ayah 214, when people question when will the help of Allah came? Allah answer, indeed the help of Allah is near. Wallahi, syeikh i keep on reciting this ayah when i feel helpless, scared and stress. Syeikh i am a sister from Malaysia . Jazakallahu khairan syeikh for the complete explanation of this great topics. May Allah Blessed Syeikh always.

@@abubakrzoud I cannot read the Arabic version of the Quran as yet but I listen and learn Surahs so I can pray and teach my kids. I read the English version daily though, will it still intercede for me?
