@@Morin0 oh whoops, I guess that would be super random then. I was commenting on someone saying they used to listen to piper but now they do not believe piper is a believer now because of what he said about trump and Biden. So I was just reminding all of us, my self included that we all fall and trip but we all need grace daily. Piper loves the Lord and is not for any of the things that guy posted about. That’s why I said give him grace.

@@saved6655 I agree 💯 with what you shared. I know what he meant; it just came out very bad. If a Christian doesn’t want to vote for Trump, then don’t vote at all. But certainly, I don’t see any way that a Bible believing Christian can vote for Biden. No Christian with an ounce of discernment believes for a moment that either Trump or Biden are saved.

I used to think Piper was a real Christian. I have my doubts. That any pastor would tell his followers, TWO WEEKS before a crucial election that LIFE and FREEDOM weren’t as “precious” as being against “a certain kind of person” is 100% without excuse. And the chaos that has reigned in the world since his political will came to pass has put a huge exclamation mark on my assertions. Abortions, transgenderism (even PROMOTED FOR CHILDREN!), wars and poor-beggaring inflation are only the beginning. I simply cannot believe I have to school an educated man, ostensibly “scripture-saturated”, in this very basic tenet of Christianity is stunning. Yes, Piper, life is precious: human life doesn’t cease to matter if you don’t like the personality of “a certain kind of person.”
