At 49 years old, I wholeheartedly agree. In my day we had skim magazine at best until a rickety internet appeared in about 1997.

lars That sounds par for the course. One time a surfer asked to try my skimboard, and after some sort of mis-hit he actually had to crawl off the beach to his car.

drumisland yeah ill try again next week. And ofcourse i was going to fall. Only sad thing it was in such a short time.

I remember watching some dude skimming in the late 70's thinking what is wrong with that guy, but it has really evolved. Bummer, I am 750 miles from my beach now...

Charlie Stovall if u have a big budget go for one of the exile hybrid boards or smaller budget get an exile ex0 or a zap chimp. Hope I have helped u out

Creative Nerf That’s for surfing, skimboarding won’t get you very far in the ocean but you can still reach a big wave like 15 to 20 meters away if you really try to

Is that Austin on Ukulele? The chord structure used here is the same as 'Fire on the Mountain' made famous by the Grateful Dead. But the version here is 1 semitone higher [from C-A#]

I have an epoxy board and I find it hard to reach waves tips anyone

Whenever I try to slide slip I just do a power slide type of thing that slows me down

try putting a little more pressure on your toes and getting your butt lower, your balance might be too far back dragging your back rail
