How To Quickly Find The Most Recent (Linked) Value In Airtable

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Learn how to perform advanced lookups in Airtable between linked tables. This may sound easy, but it’s a surprisingly complex process of creating lookup fields and using rollup fields to aggregate data based on conditional information. Good stuff as always! This is why most of us are out of fields lol #giveusmorefields

Crazy that we need this many fields to calculate a single value! I'd love more fields, but I also wish there was a simpler way to produce this result with fewer fields required!

i'm not following why you needed to create that rollup field in this case. was the lookup you did dependent on having the rollup? it seems like you could have just created the lookup alone. i guess i don't understand the purpose of rollups and how they help you understand your data more clearly.

It is better to look up the linked field directly so you can click on it instead of your "Task name to be shared". You just need to create a field Order Diff Formula = Max Order Completed - Order # and then you filter to show only where Order Diff Formula = 0

You'll have to demo that one, I haven't heard of this approach before!
