How to Put On a Pair of Weightlifting Wrist Wraps Better and Faster

Check out Rip Toned wrist wraps on Amazon at www.amazon.com/Rip-Toned-Wris...
Hi everybody, Kevin Weiss form bodyperformance.net brought to you by Rip Toned Fitness products. Just want to give you this quick tip video on how to put on your wrist wraps a little bit better, a little bit faster.
So with the wrist wrap, this to me and everyone I know has always been called this the thumbloop, for good reasons. The traditional way to put on the wrist wrap, put your thumb through the loop, and that allows you to crank it on because you want the most support you can if you’re getting ready for a big squat or a big bench that’s why you are wearing wrist wraps so that you can have that stability.
So now that I wrapped it on tight, now I got to pull this back over my thumb, and the tighter you wrap it the harder it is to get back over. Then it’s in front like that which you are not allowed to have in a competition so you have to the very least pull it around back behind.
There’s a better way. You take that same loop and you hook your pinkie through it like that. Now, when I bring it around, I can still crank it on tight, maybe even tighter I think than what I did before cause I’m not worried about not being able to get it. Now that’s on tight, now it’s in the back. Just a quick easy tip to get your wrist wraps on tight till you have the best support.

    Thanks for the quick and very easy video! I've seen some videos where it's a ten-minute tutorial about a wrist wrap. I think you summed it up nicely within a very decent time!

    Thanks, saw in the amazon comments that someone wore the thumb loop in a lift and broke it. They had me thinking I was suppose to lift with it. Thanks for correcting me before a lift.

    Like others have mentioned, wrap with the thumb loop on the backside of your hand. Also, don't loop the loop on anything. Just pinch it between your thumb and base of your index finger. Dave Tate from elite FTS has a video that perfectly demonstrates it.

    George yes wrist wraps could definitely help give your wrists some support and also potentially help alleviate some pain from your previous injuries.

    Hi, I wanted to know if your products like belt, cuffs etc. are they produced by you or are they produced in the middle east and then imported? I await your response, thank you, Michele.

    The reason why the strap is placed in your palm (illigal) is because you're wrapping it wrong. Put it on the other hand and wrap it from the back of the wrist, and the strap will automatically be out the way. Also much easier to remove from the thumb

    Because no part of the wrist wrap can touch the bar during a lift. Doing so might aid the lifter in gripping it.

    Can this help forearm injury

  • @Riptonedfitness

    @Riptonedfitness

    5 жыл бұрын

    Hi James, depending on the injury and where on your forearm the injury is these can indeed help. If your injury is higher up closer to the elbow then the wraps likely wont help but if the injury is lower closer to the wrist then the wraps can help support the injured area. I would recommend trying some of our wrist wraps and if they don't help please contact our support team and we would be happy to provide a full refund. I hope this helps.

    low bar back squat can put the wrist into a awkward position due to the increased pressure on shoulder mobility. Wrist wraps can help to provide some support. Not so much an issue with high bar squat as the shoulders are under less mobility pressure with the bar across the upper traps area
