a lot of guys dont realise how important a thick neck is for a buzzcut to look good. if you have a thin neck, your jaw will simply potrude out, and look goofy(i can say this because i had a thin neck). a thick neck helps a LOT.

@@bryanspicer90 The correlation with Sleep apnea is due to those that have thick neck being majority fat, not muscle. You can train to grow your neck

You missed perhaps the biggest factor in whether a buzzcut will look good on you or not, and that is your head shape. I have seen many guys unable to pull it off because they have a weird skull/head shape that did not stand out so much when they had long hair. Overall, it was a great video explaining the basics.

I have had a buzzcut since august and damn the way people treat me and also the amount of compliments is insane, however, if you guys wanna pull this off he's right having a beard makes it much better I have a full beard so it really suits me , I would say try it out :)

@@moneymakinmitch8130 so i had this tiktok haircut idk if you know about it but my hair would cover my face and iam brown so having that hair in front of me made me mcuh darker and it wasnt a really clean look so yeah after getting the buzzcut , it solved the most od hte problems for me but its not the buzzcut itself i regualry follow my skin care routine workout have a good diet use some serums and yeah thats basically it :)

@@fluvv9642 I've given up on that man. I look best w a buzz, but it's too much effort for me. I've given up on growing my hair out too, I don't think it's the best option for my head shape. I'm keeping an undercut for now. I use my beard trimmer to trim my sides and back the same way I used to when I had a buzz, but now i only do so once in two weeks rather than every 3-4 days. Maintaining a buzzcut is tenable as long as you don't have a fade or anything. I used to just trim the top of my head at 10mm or so (iirc), and do the sides and back at ~5mm. Maintaining the lines wasn't very hard for me since I've got a kinda boxy head lol, so I could follow the shape of my skull. Either way, imo if you've managed to get the initial buzzcut right (by yourself or a barber), then maintaining it is not too hard as long as you have not let it grow enough that you can't discern the lines.

i got my buzzcut today and this is my first time to try it.

I buzzed down my hair to I think a number 3 a few days ago and apart from one older gentleman's wide-eyed shock, it has been nothing but nice stuff, and that it looks gorgeous, and I have a nicely shaped head. I really like it. I think anyone can rock one as long as they are comfortable with their head shape and hairline and face being exposed and not covered more by hair. If not it may not be the cut for you or think about how to make it work. Some people will look better probably but as long as you like it then it's a good haircut. If you're a girl, as I am it is a style you can also rock, it's not just for men. At the end of the day if it really is that bad and you hate its hair and even if it seems slow it will grow back and hats and wigs do exist. If you take the plunge you will no longer really wonder if you will look good, if you don't you play it safe and will still wonder.

That is so true, you got to take the plunge to know. Otherwise, you will be stuck wondering tho you can do certain things to get a rough idea like a photo app, balled cap, and going short but not all the way first or look at your hairline. I buzzed my hair and I don't regret it and have gotten compliments. You will probably look fine and you can rock it with confidence, worst comes to worst it will although it may seem long hair grows back and there are always wigs and hats.

On Nov 11th of last year my barber pushed back the top right of my lining about half an inch, and now its March 4th and my shit is still fucked. Its just not growing back besides a few baby hairs and I always get a mid fade on the side and a 3 on top, so my hair looks fucked now that it doesnt grow back. RIP to my perfect lining
