Bill Wurtz is like an indie developer. It might take awhile for the next thing. But it's going to be good.

Recently Bill did an interview in which he was asked where he had been for all those months. His responce was that he was experimenting with a new work method. Instead of being pressured by his schedule, trying to get all the song and animations done at the same time for the release, he would choose a set of ideas to work with and do it step by step. Vocals, drums, animations, 3D modeling, keyboards would all be done separately. He said he's curriently working on fifteen projects at the same time. His interested diverged a little from the more usual songs he's been doing for so long, so I have no idea what to expect when he comes back. But what we can all be sure is that he'll be back with a lot to show, it also might not take that long, he said he's made a lot of progress. Maybe we will see new uploads from him in a couple months... I don't wanna get the hopes way too high, but surely this will be a shorter break than the last one, at least.

It was nice having you back, Bill Wurtz. It was very surprising to see that the guy who made "history of the entire world I guess" had just come back from a multi-year long hiatus, but it was really nice. "here comes the sun" was great, and once you started to post new songs consistently, me and my brother would wait for your next one. On the days that you released a new song, we'd watch it together, and then I'd listen to it again and again on my ever-growing playlist. I hope you come back one day, and it better be as good as your surprise 3D animation skills when you reappeared years ago. Thank you for all the good songs.

In 2007 I was 3 years old, and although during the summer it just happened to be a really shitty time for you, I think that was one of the last times I experienced uninterrupted, undisturbed happiness. Because at 4, my parents split, pretty sure my dad got into a huge accident that almost killed him, and when I turned 5 my grandma died. My birthday is my grandma’s death day. And I could go on and on and on. 2016 for me was your 2007. Although what you do is to far into the creative line for me, I’ve done many things in the creative worlds, such as poetry, short stories, photography, tie-dye, and many many media’s of drawing. Anyways, a poem I think would have fit for your 2007, and fits my 2016. Art is for the over thinkers I think those of us who’ve held this type of hurt in our hearts Can somehow find it within us a beauty that not all can create And until you’ve experienced this special place of hurt, you can find that special creation within To then build something from all this pain that’s collected And rearrange it into a masterpiece of paints, words and sounds that can captivate audiences It’s a key that is burns in your hands scaring you for life But unlocks the door to a piece of divine we wouldn’t see else where Art is for the over thinkers We metal for hours with a found since of freedom from the pain Some only to find pain in the imperfections in their newly divine As if their golden cracks wouldn’t shine through in every sad song they wrote As if they had forgot Heaven was never meant to be perfect Just an enjoyable escape from the worst of it To overthink what creation comes of the overthinking Is to miss the point in the first place I don’t overthink anymore And my art with words has gone with it The words that could come out with ease in minutes Now comes only an occasion Grappling with my words to get them in line Just right Not that anyone will read them Or even relate that I was slowing dying inside while writing them Or that it was the only thing saving me from myself at 3 in the morning Or realize that alone was me overthinking the no one who will read it These small glimpses of miracles that come from my head now Are treasures only I can keep Locked away with the rest of my fears Collecting dust like the memories of when I needed to write just to sleep Art is for the over thinkers And I feel I had my fair share to say I can say this with conviction That one who can write without a second thought to their words Didn’t just have a 29 minute conversation in their head About everything and anything that’s now down in writing Also I’m just here to game
