Keep up the good work Steve!
Your tips have saved my wok. Thanks a million!!
Thanks, Steve! Glad you hit on how to get the burned on oil off too. Been needing advice on that.
This is a game changer in my pot and pan cleaning!! Thank you!
Another hot one. Thanks Steve
Wow, thank you so much for these eco-friendly and guaranteed solutions! I have a stainless steel wok with white and light brown rings all over the inside from boiling hard water in it for steaming food. I tried Barkeeper's friend but it didn't work. Your solution of water + vinegar (I tripled the amount for each and simmered for 8 minutes) worked and now I don't have to throw away the pan! Good for Mother Earth too! 🌎Thanks again

Steve's back with the hot tips
For my Demeyere Atlantis collection of stainless I use when necessary Bar Keepers Friend Soft Cleanser (creme version not powder) that you can get at your local Home Depot. Works great and a little bit goes a long way.
Oh my gosh, I am so glad that I found your videos. I love My pan's,and they are very well used. If I didn't find your videos. I would have damaged my beautiful made in pan's. I did everything that you recommended and they look beautiful again. Thank you so much. 😊

You just earned a new subscriber, because I've an All-Clad pan (which is presently being sold on Amazon for a whopping $129) that loves TLC, and apparently, "You da man!". Barkeepers Friend and the real Mr. Clean melamine pads are best buddies. BTW - Mr. Clean clones fall apart very quickly, I've found, so I'll stay with the real Mr. Clean, extra durable sponges.
U rock dude who knew!!?❤
Just get some bar keepers friends it’s a really good cleaning product and works better than the vinegar and baking soda.
It worked. Tq

Thanks for the info!, i have one question...in the first example when you wash the pan in the sink after letting the pan cool completely, do you use the abrasive side or the soft side of the sponge with soap to finally clean the pan?. Regards from Australia.
Thanks and what do you think about "seasoning" the inside of stainless steel frying pans?
Thank you for the information. How about cast iron skillets? Thanks again!
@MadeInCookware
Жыл бұрын
Our enameled cast iron skillets? No need to do anything with them prior to use! Regular cast iron should be seasoned like carbon steel.
Even your fridge looks perfect
Will that mix work on non-stick pans? The inside of her pan is fine but the dark outside has so much crap on it that its looks horrible ..lol thx
❤
i dont know if im doing something wrong, but i cant seem to get the seemingly stained in texture out of my pan, it was left behind after a burning incident and the oil stain (not the oil itself) wont come out. example, if i wipe against it dry, my finger slides with no resistance. almost like a birth mark it's seamless to the touch but visibly there.
I just use a bit of Barkeepers of dish soap alone doesn’t do the job. Pans always look like new, it’s faster, and the chemical characteristics of Barkeepers cleans and protects better than anything. To each his/her own….

White vinegar is the only thing I've found to get rid of the rainbow tint. Getting the bottom of pan clean I'm still figuring out. It seems like even Barkeepers friend isn't enough to fully clean it

Also if you pour in your salt before you boil it and the salt dissolves it wont pit

hi
Do you “season” (or prep) your stainless pan with oil every time you deep clean them like this?
@MadeInCookware

It is not necessary.
I bought a new stainless steel pot. no matter how many times I wash it, I always find dark grey residue. How to get it off?
@MadeInCookware

Hi there, white vinegar and scrubbing with baking soda.
@usmc2309
8 ай бұрын
Thank you! I managed to get all of it out by using "Easy Off" spray. I sprayed it and let it sit for about a minute. I wiped it and wow, lots of grey stuff. So, I did it again, and it was all gone. I did it a 3rd time to make sure it was gone. Lastly, I use white vinegar to help get any residue of "Easy Off" out of the pot. @@MadeInCookware
So, you can't use salt when cooking in stainless steel??

Will vinegar cause any leaching of the stainless steel pan? I know certain acidic foods can pull out nickel and chromium, is the same true for vinegar?
@Bulls79
Жыл бұрын
Do u got the answer?
Great, but vinegar, or lemon juice, or any acidic liquid on marble countertops is not kosher!
