How to PROPERLY Install Wheel Spacers

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

In this video, I show you how to professional mount and install wheel spacers on your car. I am using Bolt-on wheel spacers in this application. For the front, I am installing a 25mm wheel spacer, whereas in the rear, I am installing 38mm wheel spacers. After all is said and done, my OEM wheels will be flush to my fender, I will be able to clear my BBK (to be released), and I will get more even lateral load transfer, resulting me in more traction. Thanks for watching!!

Excellent video Milan! BTW aluminium doesn't corrode the way you think it does. The corrosion is called aluminium oxide which turns to a really hard layer (surface). That hard layer actually protects the aluminium from further corrosion. Not saying the added insurance isn't necessary because I would do the same thing your doing.

anti-seize was the only thing you did wrong, it's the equivalent of spreading some mud between your rotor top hat and rim, you don't want there to be anything between the rim and mounting surface its attached to. if your that worried about corrosion simply clean/paint the rotor and hub assembly. Most people should never have to worry about wheels being seized to the hubs, most people change they're tires ever 3-4 years and as long as you actually wash your car your fine.

Be sure to get some wider rims to make sure that you're not adding any uneven pressure on your wheel bearings. Wheel spacers alone will put more force on to one side of the bearing than it's designed for, which leads to them wearing down faster and possibly damaging them over bumps.
