How to Properly Disinfect Your Home | WSJ
To help protect against the coronavirus, the CDC recommends cleaning and disinfecting frequently touched surfaces daily. Bryan Warcholek, who leads the Covid-19 team for biohazard clean-up company Aftermath Services, shows how it’s done. Photo: Adam Falk/The Wall Street Journal

Quartz countertops can be discolored by bleach. Lists on CDC for disinfectants are the generic names listed on the MSDS sheets. Brand names would certainly be more helpful to the general public. ty
Yeah, sure, KZread. I need more cleaning after 3 months of constant paranoid cleaning being trapped in quarantine.
Wow ! Totally exhausting to watch . I’m already a clean freak . But this is insane !
Well if you get mustard on the counter lick it off before anyone sees you and keep it moving
By the time I clean all my house with all those steps, I might as well get the virus. I'm going to spend the same amount of time in the hospital as I would with cleaning.
Fully disinfecting your home 2-3x per day like this has to qualify as OCD. Frankly nuts. I would consider it if you were living with someone with a high communicable disease, but probably your better option is to live separate for a while, if feasible (ie, they can take care of themselves).
I bought a steam cleaner. Disinfects with hot water. Perfect.
Doing this everyday, it's more probable to get a cancer.
cleaning my house didn't look this sexy.

Yeah
High touch objects like remotes, cell phones, tables, counter tops can be sanitized easily without the use of water and chemicals.. Try seraching for Nevon Uvlizers on google their PU50, PU50C, C72, PU50C-R, PU50C-SV10 models are designed for various purposes including groceries sanitization
But CDC said covid not spread easily by touch?
Or, you just wash your hands when u get home so you dont contaminate everything

Hey, I saw you againnn
Bleach bombs! Works great. 😎
The CDC basically stated that the virus does NOT spread through contacting surfaces. "The coronavirus primarily spreads from person to person and not easily from a contaminated surface. That is the takeaway from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, which this month updated its “How COVID-19 Spreads” website. Under the new heading “The virus does not spread easily in other ways,” the agency explains that touching contaminated objects or surfaces does not appear to be a significant mode of transmission."
"When something is important enough, you do it even if the odds are not in your favor." Elon Musk
Lol who doesn’t do this?
If one person in the home has it, cleaning countertops isn't going to stop other from getting it. This is stupid.
i dont want to live like this

No American has the patience, attention span or desire to actually change their behavior, especially when it comes to cleanliness or consideration of others.

Cynicism is the wisdom of the half-wit. Factually, everybody changes all the time. As for cleanliness, we are all radically different today from what we were as kids -- let alone what we were then compared to kids in previous generations.

David Lloyd-Jones I remember my great grandma using carbolic soap and threatening to wash my mouth with it if I cussed. 😊

@@catalinacurio My father used carbolic acid to stretch my shoes, and I then turned around and used that for an excuse why I couldn't get a shine on them. 'Course you gotta remember: Mrs. O'Malley Out in the valley Suffered from Ulcers, I understand. She swallered a bar of Grandma's lye-soap. And now she has the cleanest ulcers in the land. Get rid of the hucksters, high and low. That's the idea, but what is the plan? It's too out of control by now. Got to let God sort them out and just hang on and pray.
