This worked on my 02 Sequoia. I've looked at those buttons for about 3 years and never realized I could program my garage door to open. Saved me from buying a new remote, and your video was especially good because it showed all the problems we were having and how to fix. I really appreciate all your efforts, two thumbs up 👍👍.

This video is great! All Homelink videos and Chrysler 300 videos mentioned standard programming OR a rolling code. Overhead Door company did the same as well. Yours is the only video that explains that you might have to do both. So I synced the remote AND programmed with the learn button on the opener. Worked first time. Thanks again!!! Randall

Like others who have commented on this video. I have tried to connect my home link to my garage door opener several times over the years and was unsuccessful. I watched this video from beginning to end and was able to get it to work the first time. I did try to program my garage door opener to be used with all three buttons so that I could push any one of them, but it appears you can only program one signal per button. At least I couldn’t get it to work with all more than one button at a time. Great video! Thanks for making it!

My Sequoia appeared to have no code from the previous owner, and so it was not blinking at all, so I cleared it, but hitch I wasn’t grasping from the other videos because of the twenty seconds and now, my remote won’t program to my home link. Very frustrating, but this video was helpful. 😊hope you get back to me, I have a genie garage door opener. Keep up the good work!

I have had to live without being able to program my garage door to about 12 toyotas and lexus until your video. Since 2009. It is 2023. I have read and researched and called over and over. Where do I donate?

Great info, but our Allister Access 3000 does not have a "learn" button that we can find. It was already in our home when we bought it. The home was built in 1953, and has only a doorbell-type button on the wall, no key pad. Is it even possible for the Home Link in our newly purchased 2010 Honda Odyssey to be programmed?

Quick tip: if you live in a housing development that has all the same garage door opener models, make sure you calibrate your garage door when nobody is using their garage door opener. This happened to me. I successfully calibrated the first part, but when I hit that “ learn button “, one of my neighbors drove by and opened his garage door; which caught my code to my garage door. The next day, my garage door opened twice without me using it; as my neighbor was leaving and coming back from work. If this happens, clear all transmitter codes received by pressing the learn button for 6 seconds until the learn light goes off. And then redo the process to calibrate your home link to the garage door opener. Hope this helps.
