Genie Pro Max opener .. Old 1995-1996 era opener. Tried a ton of other videos and nothing. Yours was spot on!!! The trick for me was continuing to hold the garage door opener button a few more seconds during initial programming even after the door had completed its cycle and wait for the light to indicate. Then the Learn button and 3 slow steady 1 second push.. Thank you Genius man !!

I have a 2023 Highlander hybrid and spent 2 hours and a lot of frustration trying to link the car and garage door opener. After watching this I linked three doors to it in about 25 minutes. Only took that long because I had to take one car out of the bay to get to the button on the opener. Thanks for the video.

Awesome job with this video. I was able to connect to my Ryobi garage door open with just a one time view of your video. That’s how well you explained it. Kudos to you. For anyone out there that might have a Ryobi GDO the “Program Button” is the learn button. Hold that for 3 sec then just listen and follow the step by step of this awesome video.

This video is great! All Homelink videos and Chrysler 300 videos mentioned standard programming OR a rolling code. Overhead Door company did the same as well. Yours is the only video that explains that you might have to do both. So I synced the remote AND programmed with the learn button on the opener. Worked first time. Thanks again!!! Randall

You know how many videos I had to watch. You're the only person that said the magic words to connect. All other videos missed talking about after you press the learn button, you need to press the homelink in your vehicle 3 times in a row. Thanks dude.

Finally, a video that helped me to link all of our cars to the garage door! That last step is what did it! Hitting the learn button and then the button in the car! I had to complete the first step too! I spent a few hours watching different videos and trying all kinds of things and nothing worked! Thank you so much for making this video! It worked for a GMC Terrain, a Tucson Hyundai, and a Subaru Wilderness! We have an old Liftmaster garage door opener.

Much appreciate this video. As others have said, read/watched numerous instructions, including both the car and opener manufacturer's own content, and had no success. Spent 6 minutes watching this, and minutes later both cars are synced up with the garage doors for the first time!

Thanks for this. This is the only video i could find that gives the solution to the rolling code (when he's demonstrating hitting the button three times). i could get a 2018 Honda Pilot to work sporadically before, but after doing that it works every time so far. Thanks again!

Thank you! Tried using the owner's manual, no luck tried using the garage door opener manual, no luck tried using other KZread instructional videos, no luck. I found your video and followed it and bingo, it works! There was about a 10 to 15 second delay before it would work so initially I thought it was a failure, but it wasn't! Thanks again!
