This literally took 10 seconds to do. Awesome video.

It may not be that easy. After syncing the remote to the button you want to use, you may have to hit the "learn button" on the motor hanging down from your garage ceiling. Click on the learn button, you then have 30 seconds to go back to your car and hit the button you programmed. The light on your motor should blink. Then confirm it works.

I had to do the same extra step by hitting the learn button on the motor too for it to work.

Yep. The initial steps in the video plus this got it done. I believe it has something to do with whether or not your garage uses a rolling code.

I had to do this process after putting the wall mount for controller in learn mode, but it worked. thank you

For genie garage door openers, in addition to these steps you will also need to click and hold the prgm button on the garage door opener. Hold until the light turns on then go to your truck and click the button you want to program 3 times, hold each time for one second.

I did this but mine didnt work. Does the truck need to be on? The light blinks rapidly when i do this but it still doesn’t work

Yeah, it’s learn button only for gates,

So you have to erase all first? What if you just want to reprogram the first button only? Someone might have the other 2 buttons programmed for other locations.

Who was pressing the learn button when you tried to program it to your uni-ram button 😂😂 seems crazy it won’t work for me for anything, I’ve tried multiple products and different product opener fobs, nothing..
