No idea. I doubt it very seriously though. My guess would be no.

Did not work with a key that was already programmed for a car we no longer have. Is there a way to clear out the programming of an old key?

I'm not sure about that. Pretty sure the key needs to be registered to the car with BMW north America before you can program a key to it.

Yes, you can clear a key that has already been programmed, but you need a programing tool, like xhorse or autel, or go to a locksmith/repair shop that has one.

Only works for dealer bought key with vin and precoded to your specific car.

Forgot to add that it's not programming but it is activating a dealer key. Totally different process.

Got it start but is not locking or unlocking.

Some keys have a diferent P/N or come defective, if you have the wrong one, the remote will not work.

where did you bought replacemnt key?

I only bought a case. Replacement keys come from the dealer.
