Whenever you want to feed your fish, you start by giving them little quantity of feed and you watch them, you can stay there for like 5 to 10 minutes they will eat and they will be OK, as the time they start withdrawing from the spot where you are pouring the fish food then you start withdrawing the quantity of fish food you’re pouring inside.

How to feed, spread of feeds to your fish in the morning and feed the till the fish are ok, do not measure or ration food for them and repeat same thing in the evening, feed till the fish start withdrawing from the spot where you feed them.

We change the feed as soon as they exhaust, whatever we have for the previous ones

This is not possible. Don't forget that it is not only the feeds that make fish to grow. What about water management? What happens with sorting, cannibalism etc

With regards to cannibalism, catfish are carnivorous and will most likely prey on the sick/weak and young. As long as the pond is large and there is room to move around, this is limited

Is there no natural method of feeding fish in an earthen pond? For example, feeding them with byproducts of fruits and vegetables, or grains like maize or millet.

Pls can this be achievable in a tapolin or concrete pond?

It can. You can even grow many vegetables... Look up Aquaponics.

What volume of space and water is required to raise 1000 juvenile. If am not using earthen pond.

All will not attain 1kg, some will weigh more and some less but you’ll harvest 1,000kg
